Mr. Marshall specializes in helping clients throughout the healthcare value chain. His experience includes helping employers across many industries to reduce and manage their employee benefit costs, and it includes working with health providers to improve their financial performance. He has worked with pharmaceutical companies, a healthcare group purchasing organization, physicians, and over 60 hospitals to help them manage their financial performance and risk.
The majority of Tim’s effort with hospitals includes sourcing and procurement, optimizing 340B drug discount program benefits, and medical record documentation improvement. He has substantial experience with each of the key hospital costs including: labor and benefits, administrative, clinical (including pharmacy), physician preference items. His experience includes co-managing with a client the negotiation of a $3 billion medical supply contract.
Prior to joining The Claro Group, Tim was a Senior Manager at BearingPoint in the Healthcare and Spend Management practices. Before that position, he was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen in a similar capacity. Previously, he was a Manager in the Dispute Analysis and Corporate Recovery practice of Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
Tim holds an MBA in finance and strategy from University of Chicago and a BS in accounting from Indiana University. |
