Timotheus Höttges born in 1962 has been a Member of the Board of Management responsible for T-Home and Sales & Service since December 5 2006. His responsibilities include along with T-Home in which Deutsche Telekom bundles all of its telephony and broadband offers in Germany the entire sales and service forces for the two consumer business brands T-Mobile and T-Home in Germany.
Before his appointment to the Group Board of Management Mr. Höttges was Chief Sales and Service Officer of T-Mobile International. As such he was responsible for Sales and Service in Europe. Mr. Höttges was also responsible on the T-Mobile Board of Management for the T-Mobile's European companies in Germany the United Kingdom the Netherlands Austria and the Czech Republic.
Timotheus Höttges has been with Deutsche Telekom since September 2000. He was initially Managing Director Finance and Controlling at T-Mobile Deutschland and from April 2002 to December 2004 Chairman of the Managing Board.
After studying business administration at Cologne University he spent three years at the Mummert + Partner Unternehmensberatung business consulting company in Hamburg. At the end of 1992 he moved to the VIAG Group in Munich where he held various commercial positions most recently as member of the extended management board responsible for controlling mergers and acquisitions and was project manager in the merger of VIAG AG with VEBA AG to create E.on AG. |
