Tim Wood is Vice President of Research and Development. He leads a team of 20 scientists in developing and testing nutritional products including vitamin and mineral supplements and functional foods. In addition his team oversees USANA's quality assurance and quality control programs as well as its international regulatory efforts.
Dr. Wood joined USANA in 1996 as Director of Research and Development and was promoted to his current position in 1998. Before coming to USANA Dr. Wood served as Vice President of Research and Development for AgriDyne Technologies Inc. formerly known as NPI.
After receiving a bachelor's degree in environmental biology from the University of California Santa Barbara Dr. Wood earned a master's degree in environmental sciences and a Ph.D. in biology from Yale University. He most recently earned an MBA in research and technology management from the Gore School of Business at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. |
