Timothy M. Walsh comes to epipeline, the leading online source of Federal government contracting research, with broad experience in P&L responsibility for high growth technology companies. At epipeline, Walsh is responsible for the strategic direction, revenue growth and financial performance of the company as well as customer satisfaction for the company’s 200+ clients. Prior to joining epipeline, Walsh was the CEO and President of Ntown Communications, Inc., a provider of Internet Services and proprietary browser-based content insertion technology. Walsh also held the positions of Co-founder, President and COO at SignCast, Inc., an Internet-based media company specializing in enabling interaction and commerce between consumers and advertisers in life style venues. Prior to working at SignCast, Walsh served as Vice President of Professional Services at PictureTel Corporation. At PictureTel, he was responsible for managing PictureTel University, the Video Conferencing Consulting Practice, Custom/Integration Services, Client Services, and Conference Services. PictureTel’s conference services, which serve a large number of Fortune 500 companies, are one of the world’s largest single operator-owned international video conferencing services. During his 20 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, he held several key positions, including: Manager of U.S. Training Operations, Worldwide Marketing Manager of Customer Training, Corporate Sales Training Manager, and Director Sales Automation. In 1996, Walsh pioneered Digital’s sales force automation system that received the CMP’s InternetWeek and Network Computing Best On the Internet (BOTI) award. This application was the early forerunner to Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems.He served eight years in the U.S. Navy, where he was responsible for shipboard Naval Tactical Data Systems. Walsh was educated in Engineering, Computer Science, Business and Executive Management at Boston University, INSEAD (Paris) and the University of Virginia Darden School. |
