Tim Tokarsky earned his BSc in Geophysics from McGill University. His IT career began at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for the global systems monitoring design and rollout. In 1995, Tim joined Merrill Lynch as VP, Distributed Systems Management with responsibility for the design and implementation of the firm's global distributed systems management strategy. This included performance management, monitoring, distributed scheduling, backup and restore and software distribution. He joined Micromuse's executive team in early 1997 as VP, Application Development. He designed and oversaw development of three software solutions: Netcool/Impact, Netcool/Reporter and Netcool/NT Service Monitors. Tim eventually was promoted to Senior VP, Business Development where he was responsible for the company's product market strategy, marketing, partnerships and acquisition activity. During Tim's tenure with Micromuse annual software revenues increased from less than $2.0 million to over $212 million. |
