Mr. O'Connor joined Broadpoint in 2008 as the Head of the Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Broadpoint, Mr. O'Connor was the head of Imperial Capital's Investment Banking practice in New York. Prior to Imperial, he was Managing Director in the Restructuring & Recapitalization Group at Jefferies & Company. Prior to Jefferies, he was Head of Restructuring at Raymond James & Associates. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. O'Connor served as Chief Financial Officer of Kaiser Group International, Inc., an international professional services contractor. As Chief Financial Officer, he led the financial restructuring of this former NYSE billion-dollar company. His previous financial experience includes senior positions with both General Electric Company and Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mr. O'Connor began his investment banking career with Lazard Freres & Company. He has served on a number of boards and has extensive corporate finance and restructuring experience. Mr. O'Connor received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware. |
