Tim has over 18 years of senior level experience in financial management and commercial banking. He has assisted companies within the manufacturing, distribution, retail, and restaurant industries. Tim develops and implements restructuring plans that return organizations to profitability. Tim manages numerous challenges on behalf of BBK clients. He is an expert in loan work-out negotiations and in helping clients locate replacement financing. Much of his time is spent helping OEMs who are doing business with troubled Tier 1 suppliers. Tim also possesses extensive experience with credit and financial service products and has an established track record for formulating strategies on behalf of distressed organizations. Professional Experience Prior to joining BBK, Tim was the First Vice President and Division Head of the Credit Administration Division of Standard Federal Bank - a subsidiary of ABN AMRO (now LaSalle). As VP he was responsible for developing all aspects of credit review and management functions, including the formation and management of the loan workout group. In this role, Tim managed a portfolio of fifteen problem accounts totaling $32 million and developed monitoring systems that were capable of detecting collateral problems, financial performance issues and information deficiencies. He ultimately reduced the institution?s exposure by $20 million and generated $3 million in recovery of charged-off loans. Tim?s career in banking also includes nine years at NBD Bank (now Chase). As Vice President of NBD?s Midwest Banking Division, he grew the bank?s portfolio from $250 million in commitments to $600 million by acquiring new clients and securing additional business from existing customers. Tim generated loan fees in excess of $1 million and introduced services that sold in excess of $1 million. As second VP of NBD?s Risk Assets Group, he reduced the institution?s exposure from $75 million to $50 million, recovered $3 million in charged-off assets and reduced non-performing assets by $21 million. |
