Tim Lawson first joined CCS in 1992. He has been instrumental in molding CCS into the successful company that it is today. As the company has grown, so has Mr. Lawson‘s role. Prior to becoming Chief Financial Officer, he served in various leadership roles at CCS including: Vice President/Controller, Purchasing and Quality Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President of Sales and Service and Vice President of Operations. Mr. Lawson was named CFO of the Year by Virginia Business Magazine in 2006. This award was based on his contribution to CCS' growth, profitability, corporate management, professional achievements and community involvement. Mr. Lawson holds a BS in Marketing Management and an MBA from Virginia Tech. Throughout his career, he has been very involved in bringing quality into the CCS organization, completing hours of coursework for ISO implementation and Kaizen facilitation. Mr. Lawson is very active in the community, participating in charitable organizations and projects. He is Past President of the Christiansburg Rotary Club and on the board of other organizations within the community including Christiansburg Presbyterian Church and the Better Business Bureau. |
