Tim Lasocki is a Director of Business Development and Project Finance where he is responsible for origination and investment in wholesale renewable energy projects including wind energy, biomass, and biofuels. Prior to MMA Renewable Ventures, LLC, Mr. Lasocki was the Director of Commercial Transactions at Clipper Windpower where he negotiated multi-year turbine sale contracts valued at over $4BN, which led to successful commercialization of the Clipper “Liberty” 2.5MW Turbine. Prior to that, Mr. Lasocki held roles in sales, development, and strategic marketing at GE Wind Energy during its formative years, where he led complex negotiations for close to $1BN worth of wind turbine and wind project purchases. Mr. Lasocki has also worked for Orion Energy, a developer of wind energy projects that is now a part of BP Alternative Energy and the Congressional Budget Office. Mr. Lasocki holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Environmental Management (MEM) from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in economics from Carleton College. |
