Tim Fletcher joined the KTBS crew in late November, 1999 as the Sports Director. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Tim's style of sportscasting is a little off the beaten path.
"I have always known I wanted to be a sportscaster...and I have also known that my personality is my strongest suit (outside of my retro leisure suit)...so, I try to combine my love for sports with a little dose of personality. One thing is certain...no one can say that I don't enjoy my job."
Like most sportscasters, Tim loves golfing...lying about his golf score...and looking at better golf equipment that might make him a better golfer (or a better liar). He loves to toss the football around, shoot hoops, run (if the ice cream truck takes off too fast) and hang out with his family. He set a Monticello, Arkansas High School record by throwing 23 interceptions in 10 games during his senior season plus, he waged annual wars with Scottie Pippen in hoops play (and you thought M.J. taught him everything). |
