Tim Evans- R.Ph. , M.S. , President and CTO, is one of the original founders who created Pharmacy Computer Services, Inc. (PCSI) in 1978. His primary focus is to keep the emphasis of our applications on meeting the ever changing needs of pharmacy users in terms of system performance, dependability, and functionality. Mr. Evans has been pivotal to PCSI’s success, and he continues to play an integral role in technical presentations, product development, and client relations. Mr. Evans worked as a Pharmacist in several hospitals and community settings, as well as an ASHP Residency where his interest in computer applications grew. His experience in customer settings and meeting their needs for clinical computing, coupled with his vision for the future, has kept PCSI a strong player in a competitive market over 30 years. He believes that the pharmacy’s role will continue to change as the demand for knowledgeable clinicians will direct the expansion of pharmacist’s responsibility in patient care. PCSI is committed to being on the forefront of providing the computing tools needed to aide the pharmacist in meeting these new professional responsibilities. Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy as well as a Masters in Pharmacy, both from Oregon State University. He is a long term member of ASHP, OSPhA, HL7, and NCPDP, and maintains an active certificate as a Licensed Pharmacist in Oregon. GO BEAVERS! |
