Tim Butchart is vice president of sales, EMEA for SGI. In this role, Butchart is responsible for the profitable revenue growth for SGI solutions in High Performance Computing, Storage and the associated Professional Services. Tim is also driving the SGI strategic plan to address the requirements of the existing SGI markets and those of the demanding organizations in the Enterprise sector.
Tim brings a broad and experienced background to his role. He was formerly General Manager for SGI's Northern Europe Business. Prior to SGI, he spent time with Amdahl and Fujitsu in a variety of sales leadership positions, most recently as vice president EMEA, for Fujitsu Softek, developing their software business.
Tim has played a vital role in leading the introduction and revenue growth of a range of software, consulting and hardware solutions to the European marketplace, including large-scale UNIX applications, enterprise application development, out sourced services and systems integration.
