Tim Bolton became a member of the Falcons organization with an experienced background that boasted a total of 15 years of service in human resources. Bolton's focus since joining the Falcons over the past 18 months has been implementing a comprehensive human resources strategy across all of the the Arthur M. Blank Family Businesses, including such strategies as leadership development, performance management, and succession planning. Most recently, he was a contributing writer in an executive book titled, H.R. Benchmarks for Success, focusing on "aligning HR's vision with company strategy."
Bolton began his career with The Home Depot in 1988 as a store associate, and forged a path into the human resources field in 1992. During his time with The Home Depot, Bolton served the human resources needs of a number of divisions, including the southeast region, international, EXPO Design Centers and Home Depot Supply.
Before departing The Home Depot in 2004, Bolton was Vice President of Human Resources for the Home Depot Supply. Tim was a general business and human resources consultant before the Falcons signed him to take over its human resources department.
Bolton played two years of college basketball at Alma College in Alma, Michigan and captured back-to-back state of Michigan high school Class B titles on the hardwood during his prep career. He received a degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.
Tim is an active participant on the board for Devereux Treatment Network of Georgia, a nonprofit organization focusing on children at risk. He and his wife, Lori, have a 11 year-old daughter, Amanda, and the Boltons live in Kennesaw, Georgia. |
