Tim provides the technical expertise for the company based on his almost three decades of experience in the computer industry. He is also a co-founder and the Chief Scientist of DevelopNET Corporation, providing web based capacity planning services for web applications, and an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Colorado Technical University. He has worked with a variety of computer systems of all sizes, with MVS, PC and Distributed Systems experience, including applications design, support, and systems programming. He provided Technology Planning for MCI WorldCom for four years and has provided capacity planning and modeling for over 15 years at a variety of companies, including Covia/United Airlines, ARCO Oil and Gas, Colorado Interstate Gas, and Texas Instruments. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science and a Doctor of Computer Science Degree. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, the Society for Computer Simulation, the IEEE Computer Society, and the Computer Measurement Group. He has published numerous papers, articles and presentations. He is active in CMG (Computer Measurement Group), the leading computer performance analysis organization, as the CMG2000 Subject Area Chair for the Modeling and Workload Characterization Track, CMG2001-2003 Subject Area Chair for the Modeling Track, and on the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain CMG (RMCMG) regional organization. He has participated in Colorado Governor Owens' Technology Summit since 2001. He was on the Academic Advisory Board for Computer Science at Colorado Technical University (1999-2001) and is currently on the Academic Advisory Board for Computer Science at DeVry University of Colorado |
