Tim has over thirty years of technical and executive leadership experience in global oil and gas exploration, production, technology, and business development. He is currently a Principal of Lindsey Energy and Natural Resources, an independent consulting firm specializing in energy and mining industry issues. Previously, Mr. Lindsey was Senior Vice-President of Exploration, with The Houston Exploration Company, a U.S. independent; and, held various senior management positions in both domestic and international exploration and business development during a 27 year career with Marathon Oil Company, a worldwide integrated major. He also serves as a Director for Challenger Energy Corp., a Calgary-based oil and gas company focused on projects offshore Trinidad and Tobago; and, offshore Nova Scotia.
Mr. Lindsey obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Eastern Washington University in 1973; completed graduate studies in Economic Geology at the University of Montana in 1975; and, also completed the Advanced Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, in 1990. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. |
