J. Tim Pruban is a turnaround and crisis management specialist. Tim has over 20 years of crisis management experience. Tim is particularly skilled in operations management, strategic business planning, bankruptcy, organizational restructuring and interim management. Tim also has expertise in cash management, finance and acquisitions.
Tim assists clients in manufacturing, processing, banking, wholesale, retail, distribution, transportation, construction and professional services. Additional experience includes start-ups, creditor relations, plant consolidations, liquidations and capital restructuring plans.
Prior to founding Focus Management Group ("FMG"), Tim was a senior manager for a national turnaround consulting firm. Tim has served more than 100 companies, providing consulting, senior operations, general management and advisory services. Tim has served as a Court-Appointed Responsible Persona and as Debtor-In-Possession for Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
Tim started his professional career as an international financial analyst with Motorola, Inc., where he implemented and coordinated a new budget system for the International Group. Tim developed long and short range profit planning, strategic planning and computer modeling for Motorola.
Tim also served as a financial analyst with ADP, Inc. where he developed procedures and standards for inter-company transactions, assets management, revenue recognition and forecasting.
Tim is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth, and serves as a board member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Florida.
De Paul University, Chicago, awarded Tim his MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Tim also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from De Paul.
