Tiiara practice focuses on representing creditors, debtors, creditors’ committees and trustees on a wide range of creditors’ rights, reorganization and bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 11. Tiiara is a member of the Ohio, Norman S. Minor and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. Her professional background includes a position as a career law clerk with The Honorable Cornelius Blackshear (Ret.) in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. She also was a law clerk in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey rotating between Judges Novalyn Winfield, Donald H. Steckroth and Morris Stern. Prior to returning to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, Tiiara was a bankruptcy associate for the New York law firm of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP (formerly LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP). Most recently she served as a law clerk for Chief Judge Randolph Baxter, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio, before joining Calfee in 2007. |
