Tiffany Downs focuses her practice on representing life, health and disability insurers, third-party administrators, ERISA plan sponsors, and managed care entities in federal and state courts, administrative agencies and in arbitration. Tiffany has defended actions involving claims under ERISA, including welfare and pension benefits claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, claims for discrimination, class actions and multi-district litigation.
Tiffany has published articles on life, health, disability and managed care issues. She was also a contributing author to ERISA Survey of Federal Courts (American Bar Association, 2005).
Tiffany is a member of the American Bar Association, The Federal Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association and the Life, Health and Disability Committee of the Defense Research Institute. She is licensed to practice in the state courts of Georgia, New Jersey and Louisiana and before the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia and the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.
In law school, Tiffany served as Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Review and as a teaching assistant.
