Mr. Donaldson is a veteran geologist with over 40 years experience in all aspects of public company finance and administration, was formerly the majority shareholder of Donaldson Securities, and has extensive experience in mineral exploration and production. Most recently, Mr. Donaldson has been the chairman and driving force behind CanWest Petroleum. He has helped develop CanWest Petroleum into a major petroleum asset company with the largest land holdings in the Athabasca Oil Sands region of Canada. The project, known as the Firebag East Project, consists of roughly 846,680 acres. While still under drilling exploration, the prospect is estimated to hold several billion barrels of oil reserves. |
