Thomas Whitson is a managing director in the public finance investment banking group at Piper Jaffray. He is a health care finance specialist with background in structuring bond issues for health care facilities, continuing care retirement communities and assisted-living facilities. Prior to joining Piper Jaffray in 2000, Whitson was vice president in public finance for Seattle Northwest Securities Corporation for ten years where he established and managed the health care group. Whitson began his career in health care finance at the New York State Medical Care Facilities Agency. Whitson has a Master of Business Administration degree in health administration from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California. |
