Thomas Reed is in his ninth season as a certified Athletic Trainer with the Falcons. Born in Madison, Wisconsin and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Reed played football at Louisville on their 1988-89 squad before transferring to the University of Kentucky and finishing his degree in exercise science and kinesiology in 1994. He did post-baccalaureate work in facilities management at Kentucky while working as a Rehabilitation Coordinator for the football team.
In 1995, while in graduate school, Reed served as rehabilitation and therapeutic modalities instructor at Miami University's athletic training curriculum program. Reed was a full time Assistant Athletic Trainer at Miami University from 1996-1999, working with the football, men's basketball, soccer and track teams. Reed completed summer internships with the Falcons in 1994 and 1995 and was a PFATS scholarship award winner in 1994.
Tom, 36, enjoys golf and working out and lives with his wife Nicole, a nurse, and son, Jackson, in Flowery Branch, Georgia. |
