Thomas Opdycke founded DS-IQ and is responsible for the overall direction and vision of the company. Mr. Opdycke is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader, with over 20 years of experience bringing new products to market and building high-growth businesses. At Microsoft, he was Director of Marketing in the Windows Division, guiding a team responsible for business planning and partner programs for the $8 billion+ desktop operating system business. Mr. Opdycke also played key roles in the Windows XP launch and Windows Server marketing. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Opdycke held a variety of executive, consulting, and investor roles at early stage ventures, including co-founder and President of Just ‘N Time Inc., a consumer products company, where he guided the team to achieve national distribution in grocery, drug, and general merchandise chain stores, and its successful sale to a strategic acquirer. Mr. Opdycke holds an MBA in Management Strategy and Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA degree in Economics from Duke University, and he graduated from executive programs in Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions at Wharton. |
