Thomas Nathanson joined American Capital in 2005 as a Principal in the Operations Team.
Prior to joining American Capital, Thomas was President and Chief Operating Officer of Nutramax Products, Inc. Thomas started his career as a process engineer with the Home and Automotive Products Division of Union Carbide which later became First Brands Corporation, a billion dollar publicly traded consumer products company. Prior to First Brands being sold to Clorox Corp. Thomas was a Corporate Officer and Vice President of Manufacturing and Technology. Thomas then went to Hartz Mountain Corp. as Vice President of Manufacturing and later moved on to the Chief Operating role at American Tack and Hardware.
Thomas received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is certified in Lean Manufacturing.
