Thomas Keffer, PhD, is an executive board member of Skytide, Inc. In 1989, Tom founded Rogue Wave Software, a leading provider of software solutions for creating and managing enterprise systems using object-oriented technology. Tom served as Rogue Wave's Chairman and CEO through 1998, leading the company to a successful IPO in November 1996. He remained Chairman of the company until 2002. Tom received a PhD in Physical Oceanography from Oregon State University in 1980. Prior to Rogue Wave, Tom was on the faculty at the University of Washington and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, working on geophysical fluid dynamics. He is the author of numerous scientific and computer science articles and has served on the Board of Directors of several different startups. |
