Dr. Thomas Juengling was appointed a Ceradyne Vice President and President of the company's ESK Ceramics subsidiary in Kempten, Germany, in February 2008. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's ESK Ceramics business. Dr. Juengling has held various scientific, marketing, and management positions both in Germany and at Ceradyne's corporate headquarters in Costa Mesa, California. He joined ESK Ceramics in 1996 and in January 2006 he was named to the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer. Ceradyne acquired ESK Ceramics in 2004. Dr. Juengling holds a Ph.D. in engineering and materials science from the University of Karlsruhe. |
