Since joining Professors Capital in August 2002, Tom has been involved in the process of identifying, locating, analyzing, and contracting new real estate acquisitions for the portfolio. In addition, he has been managing the entitlement and sales process of selected properties. The market value of the properties and projects that Tom has managed exceeds $25 million. Finally, Tom has been developing new techniques to manage the administration of the portfolio.
Prior to joining Professors Capital, Tom served as an officer and naval aviator on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, flying a variety of jet aircraft and fulfilling a broad range of project and personnel management duties. Tom now has the rank of Major in the Marine Corps Reserve.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree (Aerospace Engineering) from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Business Administration degree (Finance & Accounting) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
