Mr. Stephens served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MacMillan Bloedel Limited (forest products) from October 1997 to October 1999 and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Johns Manville Corporation (building products) from 1986 to 1996. From 1982 to 1985 Mr. Stephens served as Chief Executive Officer of Riverwood Corporation (paper products). He has worked in the forestry and building materials industry since 1956.
