He has represented clients before the Oil and Gas Conservation Commissions of the State of Colorado and State of Wyoming and served as a court-appointed oil and gas counsel to trustees in oil and gas bankruptcies. He has represented lenders in the documentation and due diligence for loans secured by oil, gas and other mineral assets. Tom is a special assistant attorney general for the state of Colorado appointed to prosecute royalty claims for the State Land Board. His clients include independent oil and gas operators, energy lenders, royalty and land owners, governmental agencies and surface use developers. He has testified frequently as an expert on oil and gas transaction matters. Tom was an assistant professor of law at the University of Wyoming College of Law and counsel of record in three reported decisions in the field of oil and gas. |
