BACKGROUND: Originally from New York City, Tom grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating from Bishop Kenny High School and Jacksonville University there and then from Florida State University College of Law in 1974. Tom joined the firm in 2001. He previously practiced in Jacksonville and Tampa, most notably with the Blackwell Walker (Miami) firm. Tom's practice since 1974 has primarily concentrated on banking, real estate and commercial transactions, with particular emphasis in the representation of financial institutions and other parties in real estate and asset-based lending.
