In 1995, Tom coined the term, "Automated Hosting," and founded Alabanza, whose core competency is a fully-automated hosting solution. Tom continues to serve as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Alabanza. Tom also founded BulkRegister in 1999 with a strong conviction that domain name registrars and reseller channels would enable a global revolution in e-commerce, communications, and business management. Tom is also the chairman of Baltimore Technology Park, Maryland’s largest carrier-neutral colocation data center, and the only one of its kind in Baltimore. Tom is chairman and founder of TruePresence, a national Internet marketing franchise system. Tom earned a master's degree in Instructional Systems Development from the University of Maryland, and has extensive experience in digital multimedia and web hosting technologies. He was named the 2002 Regional Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. |
