Tom Blair leads Data Return's channel sales and strategic alliances program. Under Tom's leadership, Data Return has renewed its commitment to results driven partnerships with industry leading companies. He works closely with the managed services and IT operations sales organizations to uncover and share opportunities with the channel and alliance partners.
Joining Data Return in 1999, Blair first served as vice president of central region sales, building a skilled sales team in the central United States and Canada that received the distinction of Region of the Year in sales productivity. Tom has driven much of Data Return's sales strategy and methodology, including the development of a field-based sales organization. Next Tom led the worldwide sales team for managed services. He was responsible for increasing market share for the company's Highly Managed Hosting services through new business as well as the growth of the installed customer base.
Before joining Data Return, Blair served as national sales director at Lucent Technologies in the Octel Messaging Division where he led the sales team responsible for new business within emerging markets. Prior to Lucent, he served in multiple sales and sales management roles at Octel Communications Corporation for the service provider market. During his tenure, Tom led high-performance sales organizations and annually received the President's Club Award for his accomplishments. He began his career at Xerox Corporation as a marketing representative and then major account manager.
Blair graduated from the University of South Carolina's School of Business Administration with a degree in marketing and has completed The Stagen Institute's Transformational Leadership Program. |
