Mr. Bishoff is Co-leader of Dykema's Automotive Industry Team and frequently represents automakers and major auto suppliers in high stakes commercial disputes, with an emphasis on warranty and cost recovery actions and troubled supplier litigation. Mr. Bishoff's practice also focuses on complex commercial and general business litigation in the health care and insurance industries.
Experience
Mr. Bishoff has experience in complex business disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants, at trial and appellate levels of state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He has successfully represented clients in many areas of litigation, including:
Automotive (OEM, Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3) disputes
General commercial, contract and UCC Disputes
Health care disputes, including representing managed care organizations, HMOs and third-party administrators
Insurance coverage claims
Fraud, tortious interference, and other business torts
Financial services, including representing financial advisors
Executive employment severance disputes
Trust and probate disputes
Non-compete agreements, with particular emphasis on specialized manufacturing processes
Trade secret and other unfair trade practice claims
Construction disputes, representing construction managers, project managers, contractors, subcontractors and project owners, with an emphasis on large scale construction projects

During law school Mr. Bishoff interned with the Honorable Paul V. Gadola, U.S. District Court Judge, Eastern District of Michigan.
