Tom Winkel was named vice president administration in October 1998 and secretary in February 2005. Mr. Winkel is responsible for administration of the Company’s stock option program; the corporate aviation and facilities functions; and serves as secretary to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Winkel began his career with Stryker in October 1978. He served as assistant controller/secretary until 1979 and then became vice president/controller/secretary in 1980 and held that position for seven years. He was then named vice president administration. Mr. Winkel also served as vice president and president Americas Middle East until 1998.
Mr. Winkel holds a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University Honors College and participated in the Executive Development Program at the University of Michigan. |
