Thomas R. Schwartz is the Head of Risk Management for Citi’s Global Wealth Management division. He is responsible for managing risk in the division, including market, credit and operational risks. He is a member of the Citi Management Committee.
Previously, Mr. Schwartz was Head of Risk Management for Global Investment Management and Alternative Investments. From 2000 to 2004, he was Treasurer and Risk Manager of Soros Fund Management LLC, where he also acted as a fixed income portfolio manager. Prior to that, he held various positions in the Investment Banking and Treasury Departments of Salomon Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Schwartz holds a master's in business administration from Harvard Business School and bachelor's in physics and economics from the University of Rochester.
