Thomas R. Gardner was named Vice President and Chief Information Officer on May 18, 2007. He joined Allegheny Energy as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer in October 2003 and was also named Chief Information Officer in June 2005.
Before joining Allegheny, Mr. Gardner was a partner with Deloitte where he worked with clients on finance transformation, including business strategy, cost control, and technology management. Previously, he served in a variety of finance and technology positions with Alexander & Alexander Services Inc.
Mr. Gardner holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from The George Washington University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Baltimore. |
