Thomas Villa oversees all of the company's customer operations, including customer care, collections, installations and repair. He joined SureWest Communications in November of 2003 as the general manager of the SureWest Broadband division. His 20 years of telecommunications experience includes tours in engineering, customer service, information technology, marketing, sales and finance.

Villa began his telecommunications career at Pacific Bell in 1986. In 1994, he joined Air Touch Communications and was directly responsible for program managing the successful launch of Spain's first non-government owned cellular company (AirTel). Villa’s career has also included working in Texas for PrimeCo Communications, Vodafone and Verizon Wireless.

Villa earned his bachelor's degree from California State University, Chico in marketing and a master's degree in finance from the University of San Francisco. He serves on the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls Club of Sacramento and California State University, Chico's business school advisory Board.
