Tom Ryan has over 20 years of experience in the high technology sector in both established multi-billion dollar corporations as well as venture capital backed startups. Tom joined Actuate in August of 1997 as Director of Customer Support and was promoted to CIO and Senior Vice President of Customer Services in January 2002. Prior to joining Actuate, Tom held senior management positions at Informix, Illustra, Oracle and Amdahl in several business disciplines such as Software Development, Education, Business Development and Customer Services. Tom is on the Advisory Board for AppMail, a software and services company and for the San Mateo County Community College District Computer Science Division. Mr. Ryan holds a BS Degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and an MBA in International Business from the Notre Dame de Namur University. |
