Thomas P. Lutz is a shareholder/director of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and also serves as its Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. He received his B.S. in Finance in 1968 from Lehigh University, his J.D. in 1974 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his M.B.A. in 1975 from its Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the firm in 1977 Mr. Lutz was a tax specialist with Price Waterhouse. Mr. Lutz is also a CPA, Investment Advisor, Insurance Broker, Real Estate Broker and Securities Broker Dealer; he conducts his own financial services businesses in these areas separate and apart from Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. Mr. Lutz is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is a member of the Probate and Trust Law, Taxation, Corporate Banking and Business Law Sections of the Allegheny County Bar Association and various similar committees of the American, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and West Virginia Bar Associations and a member of the Allegheny Tax Society and the Pittsburgh Estate Planning Council. As a CPA he is active with the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs and other State CPA Societies. He is the past president of the Taxation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, and of the University of Pittsburgh Law School Alumni Association and its Business Alumni Association. Mr. Lutz counsels clients on investments, start-up companies, private placements, venture capital, commercial financing, wealth accumulation and management, retirement, insurance, business and personal tax planning, real estate, business succession, estate planning, litigation and shareholder/partner/member disputes. |
