Mr. Gorman is a Partner practicing in our Litigation Department, where he represents plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of litigation matters. These include labor, insurance, personal injury, commercial disputes and torts, real estate, construction, and intellectual property. Mr. Gorman has represented public bodies as well as private corporations, individuals and associations.
Mr. Gorman has authored articles for the Boston Bar Journal and for the American Bar Association, and has lectured in the area of expert testimony for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Gorman has also spoken on public retirement issues for the Massachusetts Association of Contributory Retirement Systems.
Mr. Gorman received his B.A. with high honors in 1975 from Harvard College and his J.D. in 1978 from Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States District Court for Massachusetts. Mr. Gorman is a member of the Boston, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and American Bar Associations, and past Chair of the Boston Bar Association's Litigation Section Appellate Committee.
Mr. Gorman is a former member of the Town of Norfolk's Board of Library Trustees. |
