Mr. Chambers, 50, was appointed vice president corporate planning in September 2001, having served as director corporate planning since March 1995.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Chambers spent two years in the international business development group at Pennzoil Exploration & Production. He was responsible for commercial support activities for Pennzoil’s international operations in the Middle East, Far East and South America.
Previous to that, he spent over 11 years with the BP plc group of companies in various management positions including international business development, planning, operations and facilities construction.
Mr. Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and serves on the Advisory Board for the Houston Foundation for Life. |
