Thomas M. Jorde is Professor of Law at Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley. He specializes in antitrust, intellectual property and civil procedure. He has extensive experience consulting on antitrust matters, helping lawyers identify appropriate economic experts, and coordinating the economic testimony of experts in litigation. Mr. Jorde is a founder of Boalt Hall's Law and Technology/Intellectual Property Program, and is co-author of "Antitrust, Innovation and Competitiveness" (with David Teece, Oxford University Press, 1992) and "Intellectual Property in the New Technological Age" (with Mark Lemley, Peter Menell, and Robert Merges; Aspen Law and Business Press, 1997). He has served as a law clerk to Justice Brennan, U.S. Supreme Court; Special Assistant to the FTC Bureau of Competition; Special Master in the U.S. District Court for complex antitrust legislation; and as a private mediator. |
