Tom is currently CEO of Informed Medical Communications, Inc., which provides targeted educational marketing services to doctors and patients on behalf of bio-pharmaceutical customers. Tom is also a consultant to Ferrer Freeman and a Co-founder of QDx, Inc., a diagnostic development company exploring new methods of hematology analysis. Previously, Tom was the President of Novametrix Medical Systems, Inc., (NASD; NMTX) a worldwide leader in cardiopulmonary monitoring, from 2000 until its sale to Respironics, Inc. in 2002. From 1998 to 2000, he served as the President and CEO of Wright Medical Technology, Inc., an orthopedic device company located in Memphis, Tennessee where he led a successful turnaround of the company and orchestrated its recapitalization led by Warburg Pincus. From 1993 to 1998, Tom served in various capacities at Wright Medical including as General Counsel and EVP of Business Development. Tom was a litigation attorney in the Washington, DC law firm of Williams and Connolly after graduating from Georgetown Law School and Holy Cross College. Tom serves on the Board of Directors of various FFC companies and was formerly a Director of Osteotech, Inc., (NASD; OSTE). |
