Thomas M. Lardieri is Vice President and Controller for The Pepsi Bottling Group. Mr. Lardieri works closely with corporate senior management to ensure the consolidation of PBG’s worldwide financial results, accounting and financial reporting.
Mr. Lardieri joined the Pepsi system in 1988 with Pepsi Beverages International (PBI). During his 13 years at PBI, he held key positions of increasing responsibility, leaving PBI in 2001 as their VP Controller. In his most recent position at PepsiCo, Mr. Lardieri was Vice President, Risk Management and General Auditor, where he successfully led the implementation and year-end certification in 2004 of SOX 404 and worked directly with the operating divisions to develop PepsiCo’s Risk Management Processes. More recently, he led the major redesign of the audit methodology enabling a broader assessment of business controls. Mr. Lardieri has been featured in webcasts, articles and as a keynote speaker on Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX 404). Mr. Lardieri was also the Chairman of the Corporate Inclusion Council, which supports diversity and inclusion at PepsiCo. Before joining PBI in 1988, Mr. Lardieri spent five years in public accounting.
Mr. Lardieri earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pace University and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
