Dr. Grogan is the founder and current Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs at Ventana. He has served as a director of the Company since its formation in June 1985. Since 1979, Dr. Grogan has been on the faculty of the University of Arizona where, in addition to his role at Ventana, he is currently a Professor of Pathology in the College of Medicine. He is a member of the Lymphoma Biology Committee and founding member of the International Lymphoma Study Group, which formulated the current classification scheme for clinical practice. Dr. Grogan received his BA with distinction (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Virginia in 1967 and his MD (AOA, 1971) from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a post-doctorate fellowship in hematopathology at Stanford University. |
