Thomas M. Chairs is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the area of Hospital Law with emphasis in Medical Malpractice. Mr. Chairs is a Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Accredited Agency. In addition, he has represented physicians and hospitals as an appellate advocate before Pennsylvania’s Superior and Supreme Courts. Mr. Chairs is a member of the Pennsylvania and Maryland Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and Supreme Court of Maryland. He is also a member of the Lancaster County Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chairs served as a law clerk to the Honorable Emanual A. Cassimatis, York County Court of Common Pleas Judge. Mr. Chairs also worked for the in-house legal department of the Lincoln General Insurance Company where he worked exclusively in Subrogation Litigation. Mr. Chairs graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 1992 with a B.A. in Political Science. He received his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law in 1996. |
