As President of Connect-ED, Mr. Tom Motter is responsible for building, managing, and supporting all local, state, and national directives for the education services division of NTI. Mr. Motter has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing management, including the most recent eight years devoted to the education market.
From 2002 through 2004, Mr. Motter served as Executive Vice President of PACE (The Partnership for Academic and Community Excellence, LLC) prior to its purchase by NTI, Mr. Motter brought a K-12 focus to PACE, helping the company to establish its position as a leading provider of hosted mass notification services to schools and districts.
Mr. Motter has served in several senior executive positions with notable brand leaders including Vice President of Worldwide Franchise Operations and Vice President of Global Product Operations with FUTUREKIDS, a $50 million global educational technology services firm, and Vice President of Franchise Development, Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Operations with CENTURY 21 Real Estate Corporation's Pacific Division. He has also owned and operated a single-family-residential building business, with an emphasis on energy efficient designs and a commercial real estate brokerage firm.
Mr. Motter is a distinguished honor graduate of the US Army's Ranger School. He also received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and two Air Medals for meritorious service while attached to the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. |
