Tom Grimes, Senior Vice President and Director of Property Management for Mid-America Apartment Communities, oversees a portfolio of approximately 38,000 units located in eleven states.
Prior to this position Mr. Grimes served MAA as an Operations Director over the Central and North Regions of the company, which consisted of 14,970 units. Mr. Grimes also previously served as Director of Business Development and Regional Vice President of the company’s Coastal Region.
Mr. Grimes joined MAA shortly after its initial public offering in 1994. He holds a BS from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Memphis. Mr. Grimes is an Advisory Board Member of the Memphis Area Chamber of Commerce, on the Lease Advisory Committee for the National Apartment Association and a member of the Advisory Board for Florida State University’s Property Management Program. |
