Thomas L. Czechowski has practiced extensively in all areas of civil litigation with primary emphasis in the areas of product liability, toxic torts, and employment litigation. He has been directly involved in and responsible for the successful defense of numerous product liability cases involving automobile design and safety, industrial machinery, outdoor power equipment, and a wide range of consumer products. He has had extensive experience defending claims of age, race, and gender discrimination as well as sexual harassment. He has also been involved in numerous commercial cases and cases concerning exposure of persons to asbestos, talc, and other pathogenic materials. More recently he has been involved in significant construction litigation and cases involving exposure to mold. Mr. Czechowski received his B.A. from Randolph-Macon College in 1965 and served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps before graduating from Tulane University School of Law in 1974. While in law school, he served as a member of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Czechowski is a former adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Dayton where he taught courses in product liability. He has also presented at various legal seminars in the areas of product liability and tort reform. He is currently a member of the Dayton and Ohio State Bar Associations, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute, and is a past member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Czechowski is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, the Federal District Courts for the Southern and the Northern Districts of Ohio, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeal. |
