Thomas O’Maila was appointed a Director of QAD in August April 2006. Mr. O’Malia is the Program Director for the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurship Studies at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, a position he has held since 1995. The Lloyd Grief Center for Entrepreneurship Studies is among the nation’s leaders in entrepreneurship education and research. Over his 40-year career, Mr. O’Malia has held several senior executive positions in the fields of technology and banking and was on the faculty of the USC Entrepreneur Program from 1981-1991, and again from 1995 to present. Mr. O’Malia wrote and hosted the award winning distance-learning program Introduction to Entrepreneurship: Building the Dream, which is nationally televised on PBS University. He is a frequent corporate lecturer and has written or co-authored several books. Mr. O’Malia holds a bachelor degree in accounting from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and a master of business administration degree from the University of Scranton. He earned his executive MBA at The Peter Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, California. |
