Thomas McElroy was appointed vice president and controller of Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES) in June 1996 and he is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting matters for Hughes and its global consolidated operations. Mr. McElroy joined Hughes in January 1988 as a director of finance where he had various responsibilities ranging from financial planning, financial systems development, financial support for business groups, and internal controls assurance.
In February 2006, Mr. McElroy was appointed as chief accounting officer and a member of the management team for Hughes Communications, Inc.
Prior to joining Hughes, Mr. McElroy was a senior manager in the audit group for PriceWaterhouse in Washington, D.C. from 1977 to 1988.
Mr. McElroy graduated in 1977 from Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. |
